Bio
Mat is a recognized subject matter expert and thought leader in cyber security, data innovation and sustainability, with a focus on the autonomous data capture, secure systems, peer to peer data exchange, and critical infrastructure. Mathew is also recognized for his development of digital monitoring, reporting and verification platforms and standards for advancing the state of digitization and security for emissions reporting, offsetting and the generation of carbon credits. Mat has led and co-led efforts to advance digitization of verification efforts for carbon credit creation and is currently defining and developing new systems to guide the sustainability and climate industries towards a more digitally native state.
Experience
Mat Yarger is Founder and CEO of Immutable Futures, Co-Founder and CEO of Demia, and was previously Head of Sustainability at the IOTA Foundation, a Cybersecurity Analyst and Operations Planner in the US Army for the NSA and Cyber Command, and a Digital Forensics Examiner at the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3).
